This album is a collection of material from 2004-2015 on the theme of love. I am in a constant state of flux within this emotion...either the disappearance of it or the proximity to it. This album will the first in a DLD only series collecting together my best material.

Livi: Written in 2013 and a hymn to mother of my children who is a legend!
This song was an unfolding of new techniques in the studio and featured guitar, live drums and keyboards.

Saviour: Originally on ltd CDR called 'EP One'. These were from a session of fluorescent electronic pop and sound experimentation. The sentiment is meant to be about just 'letting go' into the moment.

Love Song: Originally from DLD only album 'Throneland' available on my artist page. A yearning and need to sing the lyric 'Need Your Love' has since taken a universal meaning and the interpretation in my lifetime has become increasingly potent.

Love In the Heart: "I wanna learn from your soul" originally from 'Domestic Mythology" album. In my middle age I have become compassionate towards creating a mythology that is yours...except I now refer to it as my inner garden. Cheesy? This is a love album!

History Lessons: Unreleased and the oldest song on here from 2004. I was reeling after my dear Uncle passed away. He never had children so his nephews were all very close to him. A bad time...allways loved.

Build Myself Back: Unreleased, I wrote this to an ex-lover who is now a dear friend. Getting past the specifics..this I think is a very human natural yearning and I can relate to writing it. This was a very thought out and structured pop song and a rare example of writing choruses.

Cruise Realm: The newest song...an aspect of love that is unusual. The love of friendship that can come after a relationship. If worked out right it can be a vital and living thing,

Coldcars: Desolation and grief over the loss of a 17 year marriage. Recorded using my parents grand piano. I love this song and it captures compassion, heartbreak and sadness in a way I have rarely captured since. Recorded 2013 in Purley.

Little God: A deep and powerful love of self is where it begins. This epic drifting song is all about that. Also available on 'Throneland'.
