This new album was produced in Oxford and Brighton over the winter of 2012/2013. It is constructed completely inside my computer utilising some samples of my own music and a couple of hidden ones here and there. I have sampled Hog Molly's 'Scorched' for 'Samson's Riddle'; itself a part of a trilogy of tracks about Samson Agonistes. I have often worked in different ways whether improvisation or in the studio with guitars and keyboards and drums or purely drum machines. What I find thrilling about using Ableton is the immediacy and intensity with which you can work. I love the complete attention to detail and control over the sound. I loved designing sound and creating bold statements with absolute clarity of purpose. This album will be first in a series of dld only albums from me this year all of which will at some point be collected in a very hand made box set entitled 'Handmade Mythology.' Watch out for that..very ltd no. meanwhile enjoy this fuzzed out, drenched, brutal electro pop offering!
